A Leading Automotive Manufacturer Strengthens Security Across 9 Nationwide Plants Using Ikshana Vision AI Platform

The Challenge

Operating across 9 manufacturing, R&D, and operational sites nationwide, the client’s surveillance infrastructure had grown organically over the years – cameras from four different makes feeding into separate VMS platforms with no unified intelligence layer, and no purpose-built command infrastructure to bring it all together. As a cost-disciplined manufacturing operation, the client needed a single, enterprise-grade capability covering a diverse risk surface reliably across every site, architected for measurable ROI.

The Solution

Intozi acted as the System Integrator, not a point-solution vendor. We audited and readjusted camera coverage on-site across all nine plants, and built a centralized command & control environment integrated natively with the client’s existing VMS platforms. The Ikshana Vision AI Platform was deployed across 2,500+ cameras, running 17 detection scenarios in parallel with alerts routed and escalated by severity and required action. Intozi supplied, installed, and commissioned the full-stack hardware, including analytics servers, edge processing hardware, and network infrastructure.

Results

  • 9 plants unified under a single intelligence platform, covering 2,500+ cameras
  • 98%+ accuracy across number plate, face, fire, and intrusion analytics
  • Alert latency under 3 seconds, replacing manual, delayed response
  • Zero camera replacement, preserving the client’s existing IP/CCTV investment across all 9 plants
  • Centralized monitoring across nine geographically dispersed plants from a single command center
  • Ready to extend to additional plants, cameras, or use cases without a system overhaul
